Fostering a culture of health and creativity, Pangasinan Governor Ramon “Mon-Mon” Guico III led the celebration of the annual Employees’ Family Day at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center 2 in Lingayen.
The event, centered around wellness and camaraderie, included activities such as beauty care services and culinary competitions, promoting innovative employee engagement. The highlight was a cooking fest, where the Manaoag Community Hospital and Bayambang District Hospital teams triumphed. Not far behind, Western Pangasinan District Hospital and Bolinao Community Hospital clinched first-runner-up positions, while the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital and Mapandan Community Hospital took second runner-up honors.
In an exuberant display of talent, employees participated in the Indak Sayaw Showdown Dance Sport Competition 2024. The Economics Sector’s dazzling performance secured the championship, underscoring their mastery of dance forms like Tango,Salsa, and Charleston. Following closely were the Legislative and Finance Sectors as first and second runners-up, respectively.
Participants praised Governor Guico for championing employee welfare through these comprehensive activities. “His support has been pivotal for us,” expressed Ms. Sonia Yao, President of the Health and Wellness Club.
As part of the 2024 Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, this celebration underscores the province’s commitment to enhancing public service values and ensuring a healthy work-life balance for its employees, driving continued dedication and excellence in government service.
