The youth of Tayug received a boost in personal and community growth through a recent Youth Development Session and Youth Group Formation at Panganiban National High School. Organized by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), the event targeted the empowerment of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) learners, offering them a day filled with educational activities and community engagement.
Underlining the day’s significance, Mayor Tyrone Agabas spoke of the necessity for early support systems that propel young people toward success. “It is crucial that at a young age, you have the proper support, opportunities, and a community that inspires you to succeed,” he shared, stressing the vital role of local governance in creating nurturing environments for ambitious youth. Vice Mayor Lorna Primicias encouraged collaboration and perseverance among attendees, stating, “We hope that you continue to work hard and help each other in achieving your dreams. We are here to support you every step of the way.”
The event’s continuity, backed by local officials like Councilors Michael Dy and SK Federation President Almira Allas, who energized the atmosphere with interactive games, highlighted Tayug’s multifaceted approach to youth development. Their presence underscored a community commitment to fostering a supportive environment crucial for young learners.
More than just a meeting, the session served as a crucible fostering self-confidence and social skills among participants—key elements essential for their personal development and future achievements. By investing in initiatives like these, Tayug’s leadership is proactively paving paths for bright futures, ensuring that today’s youth are equipped with the requisite tools to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
